On 10 December 2019, Tuesday at the Elementary school „Vladimir Nazor“ in Čepin a children‘s school play on the topic of correct waste separation was performed. The children played the roles portraying to other students the importance of not throwing waste into nature, and that instead it should be properly separated into special bins. Although the students are still very young, they have a goal that they want to achieve and that is to live in a green Municipality without unproperly disposed waste. Furthermore, a short lecture on proper waste separation was held. In it, it was stated that waste should not be thrown into nature, explained the ways in which that waste affects environment and animals once in nature, and detailed the time it takes for a particular category of waste to disintegrate. School was rewarded a certificate of appreciation for participation in the waste management project, and children received picture and colouring books.
