On 22 November 2019, Friday, the Second Public Lecture for Citizens from the project Educative-Informative Activities on Sustainable Waste Management was organized. The topic of the lecture was the influence of waste on environment and examples of good practices of waste reduction were shown. It was also discussed what happens to waste in nature, the time needed for a certain category of waste to disintegrate, and how the effects of waste entering the food chain affect more than just environment. Moreover, the topic of composting was introduced, and why, how and where of composting was covered in detail.
